This policy explains what personal data Zak collects when you register for or attend the Event, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.

We organise Zak Expo — Glass Technology, Doors & Windows, and Aluminium Extrusions — at Yashobhoomi (IICC), Dwarka, New Delhi, 10–12 December 2026.
Both frameworks apply to this event because our visitors and exhibitors are mostly Indian but include international delegates.

We do not collect government ID numbers at registration. Photo ID may be inspected at the entrance to verify identity, but it is not recorded or copied.

Marketing is opt-out. Registering enrols you in news about future Zak events. You are told so at the point of registering, every message carries a one-click unsubscribe, and leaving is immediate and permanent — we keep a suppression record so you are not contacted again. Refusing marketing never affects your registration or anything you need in order to attend.
Event-related messages are sent by email, SMS, RCS, and WhatsApp, using the contact details you supply. These include your confirmation, badge, joining instructions, and any change to the Event.
Marketing about future Zak events is sent through the same channels. You are enrolled when you register and can leave at any time — every marketing message carries an unsubscribe link, and you can email database@zakconferences.com. Opting out of marketing does not stop the messages you need in order to attend.
We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share our contact lists with third parties for their own marketing.
We keep Event records for 8 years. Indian law requires financial records to be kept for that period, and registration, attendance and payment records document the same transaction, so we apply one period to all of them rather than keeping part of a record and discarding the rest.

After that period, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
We use cookies to keep you signed in during registration, remember your preferences, and measure how the site is used. You can refuse non-essential cookies; refusing essential cookies will prevent you from completing a registration, because we cannot keep your session.
Under the DPDP Act you may access a summary of your data, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to erase it, withdraw consent, nominate someone to exercise your rights if you die or become incapacitated, and complain to us and then to the Data Protection Board of India.
If you are in the EEA or UK, GDPR additionally gives you the right to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and not to be subject to solely automated decisions with legal effect. We do not make automated decisions of that kind.
To exercise any of these, email database@zakconferences.com or the Grievance Officer in section 2. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and does not affect processing already carried out.
Withdrawing consent for registration will cancel your registration, because we cannot admit someone whose badge and entry records we may not process. Paid tickets remain non-refundable — see the Terms and Conditions.
The Event is strictly for those aged 18 and over. Children below 18 and infants in arms are not admitted to the exhibition halls. Registration is therefore open only to adults, and we do not knowingly collect the personal data of a child. If we learn that a registration was made by or on behalf of someone under 18, we will delete it.
Access to personal data is limited to authorised staff who need it. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, held on secured servers, and access is logged. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Act requires.
We may update this policy. The version in force is always published at https://expo.zak.glass/privacy, with its effective date. Where a change materially affects how we use your data, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
