Effective from 7 September 2026.
These terms apply to everyone who registers for or attends Zak Expo at Yashobhoomi (IICC), Dwarka, New Delhi, 10–12 December 2026 ("the Event"), organised by Zak Trade Fairs & Exhibitions Pvt. Ltd. ("the Organiser").
Registering for the Event means you accept these terms. Sections 1 to 6 apply to everyone. Section 7 applies only to paid tickets.
1.1 The Event is a trade exhibition for industry professionals aged 18 and over.
1.2 Children below the age of 18 and infants in arms are strictly not permitted inside the exhibition halls, at any time, including during build-up and breakdown. This is a safety requirement and there are no exceptions.
1.3 The right of admission is reserved by the Organiser. The Organiser may decline or withdraw admission without giving reasons and without any obligation to refund.
1.4 The Organiser and its security staff may ask to see valid government-issued photo identification (for example Aadhaar, PAN, passport, or driving licence) at any time — at the entrance, or anywhere within the Event venue — to verify that you are the person named on the badge, or where there is a security concern. Declining to show identification is not an offence, but the Organiser may then decline or withdraw your admission under clause 1.3.
1.5 Your ID is inspected and returned. It is not recorded, copied, photographed or retained. The single exception is a security or safety incident that the Organiser reports to the venue operator or to the police: only then may your name and identification details be written down, and only for that report.
2.1 Your badge is personal to you and is not transferable. Sharing, lending or copying a badge will result in it being cancelled and entry refused.
2.2 Your badge must be worn and clearly displayed at all times while you are in the exhibition halls and the surrounding Event areas.
2.3 A lost badge can be reprinted at the registration desk once your identity is verified. The Organiser may charge a reissue fee.
2.4 The QR code on your badge is scanned on entry and exit. Allowing an exhibitor to scan your badge at their stand shares your contact details with that exhibitor — see the Privacy Policy.
3.1 The Organiser reserves the right to frisk badge holders and to inspect bags at the entrance and anywhere within the Event venue, for security reasons.
3.2 Photography, filming and audio recording are strictly prohibited without prior written permission from the Organiser. This protects exhibitors' unreleased products and designs. Accredited press must obtain permission in advance.
3.3 Food and beverages may not be taken into the exhibition halls. Catering is available in the designated areas.
3.4 You must comply with all safety announcements, venue regulations, and any health and safety requirements imposed by the Organiser, the venue, or Indian government authorities.
3.5 The Organiser may remove any person whose conduct is disruptive, unlawful, offensive, unsafe, or in breach of these terms — without any refund.
3.6 Canvassing, distributing literature, or selling anywhere other than from a contracted exhibition stand is not permitted.
4.1 The Organiser does not accept responsibility for the loss of, theft of, or damage to any personal belongings brought to the Event. Please do not leave items unattended.
5.1 The Organiser may change the Event programme, timings, floor plan, speakers or features without notice. Such changes do not entitle you to a refund.
5.2 If the Event is postponed, your registration remains valid for the rescheduled dates.
5.3 If the Event is cancelled entirely by the Organiser, section 7.4 sets out what happens to paid tickets.
6.1 The Event is subject to force majeure. The Organiser is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations where that failure is caused by an event beyond its reasonable control — including acts of God, natural disaster, flood, earthquake, fire, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strike, epidemic or pandemic (including any government restriction or lockdown), failure of the venue, or compliance with any law or governmental order in India.
6.2 The Organiser, its employees and agents are not liable for personal injury, loss or damage suffered at the Event, except where it is caused by their negligence, and except for any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.
6.3 Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
This section applies only if you have purchased a paid ticket or paid day passes. If you hold a free visitor registration, it does not apply to you.
A binding contract is formed when the Organiser confirms full payment and issues your ticket or confirmation. Ticket prices are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise. A tax invoice is issued to the details you supply at checkout; please make sure your GST number, if you need one on the invoice, is entered correctly before paying, as invoices cannot be reissued with different particulars after the Event.
All paid ticket sales are final and non-refundable. In particular, no refund is due where:
The Organiser is not obliged to offer credit, exchange or any alternative in place of a refund. This does not affect your rights under section 6.3.
A paid ticket may be transferred to another individual only with the Organiser's written permission and by the process the Organiser specifies. Reselling a ticket above its original price is prohibited; a ticket resold in breach of this is void and the bearer may be refused entry without refund.
The Organiser reserves the right to alter the dates, venue, opening hours, layout, programme or content of the Event, to postpone it, or to cancel it. Where the Event is postponed, a paid ticket remains valid for the rescheduled dates.
Registration and ticket fees are non-refundable. This applies whether the Event proceeds as advertised, is changed, is postponed, or is cancelled, and whether or not you attend.
The Organiser accepts no liability for any loss or expense you incur as a result of a change, postponement or cancellation — including travel, accommodation, visa and any other cost — whether or not the cause is a force majeure event under section 6.1. Sections 6.2 and 6.3 continue to apply.
Paid day passes are valid only for the days selected at the time of purchase. An unused day cannot be carried forward, exchanged for another day, or refunded. Additional days may be purchased at the registration desk during the Event, subject to availability.
The Organiser processes your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Registering means you have read it.
9.1 These terms are governed by the laws of India.
9.2 Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
